With my weekends being so social and full I haven’t been blogging as much so I am trying to catch up on the other things I have going on.
I am an avid Tarot reader for myself, but I am still at the level of having to consult with the book to see what the meaning is which makes for a time consuming reading which is why I usually just do a card of the day. I have decided to dedicate one week to memorizing each suit until I get to the major arcana which will probably take a few weeks. In addition to memorizing the meanings of the cards facing up-right there is also the meaning of it in reverse and even the pictures on the card can depict something that is going in your life. I decided to do this as a weekly feature on the witty witch for those who also want to sharpen your memory on the suits and provide insight or feedback.
I chose to start with the suit of cups because I keep pulling them lately. In almost every reading there is a cups card.
Cups are associated with emotions and the water signs (Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio). The focus of this suit is love and emotional matters.
